Last weekend we decided to take a trip to the Minnesota Zoo. Unfortunately, it was a lot colder than we anticipated. Never-the-less, Troy has been infatuated with animals lately, mainly due to the Animal Encyclopedia his Aunt Becky got him. We rode on the Monorail for the first time and looked at the sharks and sting rays up close. There was no dolphin show, however, since their main dolphin is pregnant. There was still plenty to do and see, though. We had a great time and the kids were exhausted by the time we left. Maybe next time we will take in a movie at the IMAX theatre.

I'm glad he's getting interested in animals and insects. Hopefully next spring he'll be anxious to go outside and look at the bugs and butterflies. I hope he doesn't want a pet now...lol. Well, maybe a fish for christmas.
