Emma's 2nd Birthday Invite...

My little girl is about to be 2-years-old! It is really hard for me to believe. I look back on the first day photos of both her and Troy and just stare in awe. They were so little, but I still see that baby in their faces now.

So, here we are now...Emma's 2nd birthday. Can you tell what she is into now? We are very much a girl, girl. We love babies, puppies and coloring. I am amazed she has not started on the walls yet. I probably just jinxed myself.

For those far away, I wanted to show you her invite (excuse the photoshopping). For those close by, I hope you can make it.

Emma's First Haircut

Emma finally had her first hair cut last weekend. Her hair is so long, so I thought I would take her to see Tracey, who cuts my hair.
She did so well! She would look in the mirror and say, "pretty!" What I did not realize, was how blonde she is!! Where is that dark hair she was born with? Oh well, at least she has my curls. She is just too darn cute and growing up so fast!

A Day In the Life of Troy - June 3, 2009

I have been really bad about posting, I know. I have so many things to post, because we have been incredibly busy, but with being incredibly busy you just don't have time to post. It is a viscious cycle.

Anyway, Troy's school sent us some photos today that I thought I would share with his daily report. Enjoy!

Man oh man, we had a busy day today! We started off the morning with cereal, oranges and milk. Then we got on our sunscreen and got ready to go outside. Of course the kids were totally engrossed by the jumper-men who were setting up the jumper so it was a little hard to keep everyone on task this
morning! But once we got outside to the playground we burned off some energy! We stayed out for about 35min.

When we came in we went to group. It was Tejas' turn for calendar and show and share box. His clues were: it starts with C, it has four wheels, and it can drive. Everyone either guessed a car or a truck (and we had one guess for a saxaphone today..haha). It was indeed a car. Tejas showed us how fast it could go and then put it in block area for us to play with. Thanks Tejas!

Then it was time for snack. Today was goldfish and juice. We had another helper today from the BHMC. Her name is Stacy, you will probably see her tonight at pick up!

Then we chose areas. We only had a short time to play because it was our jumper time soon after snack. So we only opened up computer, housekeeping, blocks and some new musical instruments. We got a bin from the library full of different instruments from around the world. (Of course the kid's favorite was the gong...try listening to that forty times in a row and not
go crazy...:)

After a short time we then cleaned up and headed to the jumper! We had soooo much fun. I am going to keep the email short today so I can send you all some pics. After the jumper we came in and some of the kids went off to music class while the rest of us played a touching game where we put a bunch of objects in a bag and then the kids had to reach in the bag and without looking guess what the object was!

Then it was off to lunch. Today we had sloppy joes, mixed veggies, mandarin oranges and
milk. Tomorrow is Fav. Book Day! Feel free to bring one
in!

Have a great night,
Anne
