Pictures With The Easter Bunny

We tried to have our pictures with the Easter Bunny. We thought we would beat the rush. Well, it did not turn out as we had hoped. Matt and I made sure we were dressed to impress just in case we ended up in the photo. Let's just say this is a photo session I will never forget and I hope Troy does.

We got there 5 minutes before it was supposed to open and we were told that they were going to open about 15 minutes late due to issues with staffing. So, we went to get something to eat and came back to a line of people. The Easter Bunny came out finally and everyone was happy. The first little girl sat with the Easter Bunny and then came the time when the parents went to pay. The register was down. The only person that knew how to run the register was....the Easter Bunny. Up walked the Easter Bunny trying to make a call on a cell phone and run a register with bunny paws. Needless to say, this did not work. The bunny came over to tell Matt and me what was going on and proceeded to trip over a cord with the bunny top coming off exposing the women's head. Luckily she quickly put it back on, but the damage was done. Troy exclaimed, "Mummy, there's a lady in there!"

The bunny went back in and she changed with the other worker so that they could fix the register. About half an hour later, we were all sitting with the Easter Bunny having our pictures taken, because Emma would not sit alone with the bunny. In the end, they gave us the pictures for free, but not before cutting my legs off on the picture. Oh well...let's hope next year goes a little better.
