Happy Valentine's Day, Daddy!

It is amazing how much money you save when you do these your self. The kids always love to help out as well. We hope everyone has had a great day celebrating love!

Troy's First Skiing Lesson

We have a local ski hill not far from us called Buck Hill - www.buckhill.com. We have had a lot of snow lately, so I thought it might be worth looking into. I am glad I did, since they have many programs for children, namely the little buck classes for 4-6 year olds. Troy had his first class today in the little buck program. He has som difficulty at first, but he was going down the bunny hill by himself by the end of his lesson. Look at the little ski's!!
Everyone has to learn how to get up after a fall.

They started them slow, but he did great!
Troy had so much fun that he was ready to get on some ski lifts and go on some of the bigger hills. I tried to explain to him that we needed at least a few more lessons. I am glad he was finding this new sport fun, so now I will have someone to go skiing with. If you check out the site, they also have a tubing section that is to the right of this picture, but you have to be at least 5 years old. Oh well, something to look forward to next year.

PIZZA TIME!

Over the past month or so, the kids pick a day and their favorite ingredients and we make pizzas! Troy tends to love cheese. Emma always likes sausage. I tend to like more diverse pizzas. This week was black bean, sweet red peppers, mushroom and pineapple. YUMMY! I love that they enjoy baking and cooking in the kitchen with me.
