HAPPY MUMMY'S DAY!!

I have had a really nice Mother's Day. Friday, I received some beautiful tulips at work with a lovely note from Matt and the kids. Then today, I woke up to a beautiful card and gift from the kids. We then headed to Mother's Day Brunch. This was at the same place we had Easter Brunch, but it had some nicer things on the menu this time. Everything was delicious, and the mimosa really hit the spot to finish off a nice meal with the family.
The kids then went for a nap and I went to the Mall of America for some 'ME' time. I grabbed a coffee and did some wandering around, something I can never do when the kids are with me.
The day ended up being very nice and relaxing. The weather was a little cold, but it was nice and sunny out. Matt grilled brats for dinner and we had some yummy watermelon. To top off the day, Troy sang me his "Happy Mother's Day" song. He learned it in his music class at school and goes to the tune of row row row your boat. I would post the song, but I can not think of the second line at the moment and Troy has gone to bed. We definitely need to get it on tape though. So...here ends another year for Mother's Day.
