The World According To Troy - 2/23/09

Troy's teachers, Miss Anne and Miss Andrea send us daily emails to let us know what Troy's class is up to and what activities they participate in each day. Matt and I both find ourselves talking about these updates as one of the main highlights to a stressful and busy day.
Read on to see what Troy did today:
Hello,
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Our day started with a breakfast of english muffins with jelly, fruit and milk. We read books and some of us played Old Maid. We had a yummy snack of cheese quesadilla's. We then had circle time where we are contiuing to talk about zoo animals. We sang some zoo songs and read a book called Beautiful Zoo Animals. We also imitated zoo animals. We have some great imaginations in here. We talked about our favorite zoo animal. We then chose our areas to play in. Troy, Earah, Isaiah, Kaitlyn and Alex took turns on the computer. Grace and Matthew played at the sensory table where we are practicing cutting newspaper. Shantell, Lizzy, Sreeya and Lizzie played in housekeeping. Aidan, Ethan and Tejas played in the block area. Josephine hung out with Kermit looking at the Beautiful Zoo Animals book. Others like Nathan made moose headbands. Hailee arrived a little before lunch so she didn't have much time to do anything. We cleaned up for lunch and listened to a beautiful tape story of Puff The Magic Dragon. We had ham, mashed potatoes, wheat crackers, fruit and milk for lunch. We are all resting nicely now. They don't know how good they have it!!

Have a great week!

Anne and Andrea
